Initially he wondered if this was in response to him sending her something for her birthday, but he's relieved to find out that it's just out of the general spirit that seems to be present among many this time of year.

Thank you very much, Bernadetta! This is lovely work. I will definitely find some use for it, even if I am somewhat reluctant to use it for anything that will get it dirty! There might even be some way to wear it.

Now that we are partaking in the wintry gift-giving atmosphere, I must gift you something in return. Did you hear of Christmas from someone, or is it possibly another holiday where gifts are shared? I learned that Christmas is a cheerful romantic holiday, and that it is custom to eat a bucket of fried chicken with your family.
