I can balance it out just fine on my own, thank you. But if you continue on this dark path, there is only so much warmth and life I can bring into this space if there are bones sticking out and blood oozing from every corner.

Some, but not all. I only hope that this does not encourage any particular decorating proclivities. Perhaps I ought to act a little less miffed around him about this? I sometimes think that he enjoys bothering me and will go out of his way to do so. I can only infer that a 'goth' thing is something as ghoulish as these decorations. I am unfamiliar with that word.

How do I describe it? He takes on a certain impishness when he casts his gaze and chuckles darkly about a situation that is hardly amusing to me. I am not absolving you of any culpability for your role in making our room resemble a morgue more each day of Christmas. Not in the slightest.
